About Us
Early Care and Learning Inc. (ECAL Inc) is a vehicle to advocate for innovative programs that offer mixed-age grouping, continuity of care and primary caregiving for infants and toddlers. To implement its mission, ECAL Inc, along with its partners, established a special initiative, Caring Communities: Birth to Three (CC:B-3) with major funding from American Electric Power (AEP) for the first three years of the pilot stage.
ECAL Inc has a small, diverse working board with experience in the following areas: educational management and leadership, teaching, child advocacy, public policy, child psychology, early childhood program administration, nursing, business, human resources and law.
The CC:B-3 initiative is based on state and national best practice goals and standards, developed by the following organizations:
