Why Give to ECAL Inc.

To advance the effort to bring high-quality, consistent early care programs to Ohio's youngest and most vulnerable children by creating intimate, family-style communities with skilled care teachers.

We appreciate gifts from of all our donors.  Individual donors are the base of support that has allowed us to achieve our mission since 2007.  Our most recent annual giving effort raised over $30,000, with gifts ranging from $25 to $7,500. Every donation, large and small, ensures that our services continue.

We have the benefit of great volunteers and in-kind donors, including our sponsor and host organization, W. E. Davis Insurance Agency.  Our centers also contribute significant time, talent and resources.

We are especially grateful to FACCES who in 2023 partnered with us from their City of Columbus grant to provide professional development services to our centers; it was our first major grant since our founding grant from AEP.

Following that, we received a $45,000 contract with the City of Columbus, and a $50,000 grant from the Seimer Family Foundation in late 2023.  In 2024, we were fortunate to be awarded $477,00 from the Franklin County Commissioner's Community Partnership program, which was renewed in 2025, and we hope will be again in 2026.  We have also received a second grant from the Seimer Foundation.
